Philippines, Let Heaven Speak

When power consolidates where loyalty is weaponized, and justice falters when majorities silence the process

There is tension between political maneuvering and institutional accountability, highlighting how alliances in the Senate Court can override impartial proceedings—raising questions about democracy’s resilience in the face of entrenched interests.

We have a constitution that must be upheld. But is it played by politics?

Is the Philippines like Thyatira, tolerating Jezebel?

Or, is it like in the days of Elijah when Jezebel and Ahab were wicked rulers?

Where are the Elijahs and the Jehus?

We pray for Divine intervention.

Will there be a divine tactic to disarm the evil of politics and elevate the constitution in the Senate court proceedings?

You only know, O Lord, our God Almighty. May those who kneel, interceding for the Philippines, invoke divine justice so that it transcends the calculus of political power—where earthly majorities may opt to shield the guilty or accuse the innocent, the scales of eternity weigh truth beyond the reach of political tides. What man dismisses in halls of power, history and heaven will still reckon.

Our prayer asserts that while human systems may bend to factional interests, divine justice operates beyond temporal alliances, exacting ultimate accountability.

Though political victories seem imminent, let moral and divine order endure.

O Lord Most High, may the tears of intercessors come like a flood, storming those pregnant of evil—setting them free from darkness.

What was decreed long ago in the Court of Heaven—let Heaven now speak!

As King Nebuchadnezzar was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, he said, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?”

Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven, “This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you. You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.” Daniel 4:28-32
